Jean-Pierre LACROIX, born Mai 2, 1960.
Alumnus of the National School of Administration (ENA, class “Michel de Montaigne”, 1988) Jean-Pierre Lacroix graduated from the Institute of Economic and Commercial Sciences (ESSEC) and the Institute for political studies (Sciences Po Paris). He also holds a Masters in Political Science and a Law degree.
Based at the United Nations and International Organizations Division in Paris from 1988 to 1990 and from 2002 to 2006, Jean-Pierre Lacroix has also worked at the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations in New York from 1990 to 1993 and from 2006 to 2009. Technical Advisor to the Cabinet of the French Prime Minister between 1993 and 1995, he was later posted in Washington (1995-1998) and Prague (1998-2002). Chief of Protocol of France from 2009 to 2010, he is Ambassador of France in Sweden since August 19, 2011.
